- Embedded script engine. Into the GridReport structure enters script engine which allows to completely manage the process of the report generation. The script engine based on Microsoft Active Scripting technology.
- Aliases support. For any object in the program the pseudonym can be set, clear for the end user. For example, for dataset "Table1" with field "Name", the pseudonym +Name of client; can be set, and then this pseudonym can be used inside the report template.
- The report can be generated by a script. Any hardcoded template, enters restrictions into process of the report generation, use of a script allows to avoid these
restrictions.
- The end user can change without effort the report template, adding in it new fields or simply changing a form of the report.
- The end user can edit the generated report. The user can delete lines and columns, to change contents and formatting of cells and, the sizes of page can be
changed.
- The unlimited size of the report. The workbook generated by the report, can contain any amount of sheets, each sheet can contain unlimited amount of rows and
columns.
- Cross-tab-reports.
- Export to the most frequently used formats XLS and HTML. Export is based on the vtkExport library, at exporting is not used OLE, DDE, etc.
