a. Displays meaningful error messages with the following information:

i. The module raising the error
ii. The subroutine raising the error
iii. The application raising the error and in case of an automation object, the name object.
iv. Error number
v. Error description
vi. Programmer's comments.

b. Detects the platform on which the application is running, and if Windows NT, logs above information plus the UserID of the current user to the NT's event log.

c. Logs any other type of event (Warning,Success, Failure, Information etc.) to NT's Event Log and register it under its own application's name.

a. Generic user interface for generating reports based on Seagate's crystal reports templates. This user interface is very simple and easy to use.
b. Password protected type security to reports, so that only the authorized members of the organisation have access to certain specified reports
c. Maintains its own repository of report templates and provides the functionality for managing this repository, such as ability to migrate repository from one location to another on the network and so on.

Now Organizations can just acquire report templates and neither worry about the high cost of developing GUI applications to use these templates, nor worry about such things as access security to reports and reports location and version management.

Developers and report writers can just design crystal templates and not worry about the user interface for printing them.
